This one is original, very expensive a $220 but when you going to find another original with this name??

Dear Gary,

Yeah I saw that on Gerard's site, but is it really worth 3X the normal price for the village fire department? It's got nothing to do with Hitler's "retreat" after all. Oh well, out of my league certainly.

Certainly a historically unique named sleeve eagle, although pricey to boot! Congrats.

Is that one for the repo section of your book ?

Dear Hanswurst,

Let's try to keep a gentlemanly tone. If you wish to make a constructive contribution to this thread please tell us why you think that the eagle shown is not authentic.

It looks perfectly fine to me, but that is only my humble opinion.

Also, I don't think that Gary said he purchased this eagle. Last time I looked it was still for sale.

To me it is a good eagle, but way too expensive based on the village name.

Regards,
W.Unland

Do you have reason to doubt authenticity of this example? These FW come in many shapes & forms and if you have something to add about authenticity, then please do. I for one would like to know. Thanks.
