Having just obtained a Rifle Association dagger with a miraculously uncracked grip,(thanks gary!) I wonder if there is anything I can do to preserve/protect the wafer thin celluloid covering from deteriorating in the future?

You have no idea how to keep an Eickhorn happy grin ... so, Paul, if that is what it is, the climate in Canada is really good for these kind of grips, not that wood swelling damp of the UK.

And, coming from Gary, you know that it is a fine fine piece... even his rejects are better than most collectors have ever seen.

Sorry John, no squirrels this time, it's a pair of kissing cranes..........so totally unsuited to the Canadian climate, more used to having their feet in the water!!!
