I just joined your great forums and I am very pleased of learning your outstanding threads.

By chance I googled a German trademark of your 'Maker Marks' chapter (?) this morning and I am very impressed of your unbelievable complete listing.
My focus of collecting in the field of 'German Daggers' are vintage makers' sales catalogs, makers' advertisements in public magazines or other promotional printed matter.
I trust that I will use the opportunity to check older posts here step by steep.

Welcome

I too love period reference especially the sales catalogs, would love to see what you have in your collection.

Welcome, Chevalier,

There are several members here who share your interest, such as Baz. Another, Gaspare, collects printed matter to with rings.

Could you show some of your advertisements ?

Obviously I recently failed in starting with a vintage German edged weapon cutler's advertisement.
Let me try again:

Why does it say Horstator instead of Horster?

"Horstator" was trademarked in 1918 and used through the 1920's-30s primarily on civilian knives, razors, scissors, and hair clippers.
