I can help a little.

The top one is from a souvenir sheet B104. Look under "Semi-Postal Stamps" at the end of the listings for Germany if you using Scott's Calatog.

The green 400 thousand is Scott's 273
The 10 million is Scott's 286
The 200 mark is Scott's 230

The ones at the bottom with two values will be found under "Semi-Postal Stamps" at the end of the listings for Germany if you using Scott's Calatog.

The reference section of any library will have the catalogs.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the quick note on the German stamps.

I have never looked through the catalog you mentioned. I'll have to find a library that has one and look these up.

I don’t suppose you know of any sites that have older issues on line since I'm just looking for a ballpark.

Since you gave the Scott inventory number I'm assuming you saw the current "retail" values of them.

Was anything "off the charts" or in the 5-20 each range?

Thanks

I can give you a good guess on most of them. I have a five year old catalog but they are not worth much if anything. From the top, the catalog values are:

Top is B102a about $1.00
The twelve stamps in groups of four are $0.20 each or $2.40 total
Hitler and girl B170 ~ $1.50
Hitler B190 ~ $1.20
Two unknown *
Lowest, canceled B271 ~ $1.70

The are Scott catalog values and stamps are worth less. prices for these do not go up very often and their only value is as part of a set and the sets are not worth much either. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

* The two marked "GENERALGOUVERNEMENT" are not German but from one of the puppet governments. Ill try to find them for you.

You can look them up yourself with the numbers I gave you. Type "Scotts Germany 286" for example to see current prices and auctions.

Indeed, these stamps are completely common and worth almost nothing. I have few albums full of hitlers heydrichs etc. stamps after my gradpa and many many people here in Czech have them too.

Best, Lukas.

Good decision. I will move this to "Other Hobbies"

If anyone needs help with stamps, let me know. I have Scott's World catalogs about 5 years old and the current GB and Commonwealth catalogue.

Dave, I have seen the Heydrich death mask stamp sell for $10.00 each on some web sites in the past. What amount does Scott say they are worth?

Thanks
Sepp
