NICE LH. Smile

I only have a Candino on my wrist, and another in the cabinet(not in use)
I don't wear one most times.

I have clocks in my car, on my computer, on the TV, Microwave, Etc.

When I travel I have my father's solid gold case Lord Elgin if I need one.

Tag Heurer for good, Seiko for yard work, hunting & fishing.

I wear a Timex Indiglo day/date. Does everything better than my Rolex...it's much easier to read the face and the Timex glows in the dark bright enough to see a keyhole in the dark. I buy a new one of them about every 5-7 years.

Mark Big Grin
Like Dave, I have an 18k gold Bulova wind up watch from my dad but it is too valuable and precious to wear as a regular wearer. Again, also like Dave, there are clocks every where that I live except at shows when my stomach keeps me abreast of the time. I also have an inscribed gold Bulova Accutron that was a retirement present from my employer but it is a bit too flashy for everyday wear.

I feel that kingtiger (Mark) is by far the most wise and the smartest with his choice of a Timex.

Rolex watches and diamond rings, be real!!!!

I like watches when I go out. They are jewelry for men.I have a Rolex,2-Omega,2-Rado,Lord Elgin ,2-Longine,and what am I wearing a Swiss Army that I got with Marlbro coupons Big Grin A couple are older style watches which I like .Now before anyone asks why do I need so many ,why do we need so many SS,SA ,Army's etc. Cool
Here is my alround watch

I am a sailor, and in the middle we see wawes, then i remember the sea when i am home.

Nice one Smile
Hello All, nice timepieces! I found this Bulova quartz watch in 1982 in the parking lot of a rest area on I-95. The strap had broken and it had fallen off the owners wrist. Luckily, he did'nt back over it with his car! I used it for 15 yrs, hunting, fishing etc. To this day it keeps superb time! Note the old "Twist-o-Flex" watchband I put on it back in '82! The luminescent numbers and hands still glow! Cool Regards, Leipzig

Amazing! Big Grin

You have to be at least Don Vito Corleone to wear this ... thing! Cool
Walter...What amazes me is its only got a 3 year warrenty, lol, at that price i would expect at least a 4 year warrenty.
Being a dinosaur I always take the long view. There was a time in this hobby that a great many dealers had a few Rolex Submariners in with their Lugers, badges, and daggers for sale and trade. Growing up in the country I never heard of Rolex, but one of my dagger buddies convinced me they were "The" watch. I bought my first one in the 80's, and IMO he was right. Having said that, watches are as personal as our girl friends and automobiles, so what ever floats your boat is fine.

DEM that is a watch to be appreciated.Great watch
Alot of interesting watches being shown here. The WW2 period Glashutte Tutima pilots chrono is a rare bird and the pride of any vintage watch collection. I really enjoy the history of Universal Geneve as they are rich in military watch production. I have repaired and restored many of these early complicated timepieces around the world for many dealers and collectors alike. The same goes for all Heuer watches especially the Carrera models as they have a strong racing history. If you can find any of the early Longines or Omega wrist or pocket chronograph watches used as timers in racing circles those are definitely hotter than hot !

I used to wear a Rolex, but I now wear the watch my wife gave me for our anniversary, and I love it.

C'mon Craig,

You were so short of Rolex watches that you bummed a cheap $10 watch off me at the MAX, two years ago.

I think it is time that you gave me a Rolex, real or otherwise, after all, you did say that you were going to return the favour!

Nice watches I have seen here above. I use full time Nautica right now. As I have noticed the glass is very high resustant and I can not scratch it Big Grin as I did with all other watches I used to have.

I love watches nearly as much as daggers. Wink

Here is my favourite.

It's the Omega Seamaster Chronometer also know as the watch in the James Bond movies (there is a Bond version but I prefer the traditional model).

The dagger in the background is my new Eickhorn (ground).

Very nice watch Rhys Wink
I'm a Tag person. My favorite watch is the Classic 2000 with the blue face. I've had it for a few years and have always thought very highly of it.

** Though I must admit, I have a fetish for goofy digital watches that do all sorts of things...tell the tides, the times to fish, moon phase, world times, temperature...and blah blah blah.

Tom
