Did a search on "RAF Wings" they seem to be sweetheart wings at 62mm which I believe maybe 2 1/2 in.

I found a site "Aviation Wings and Badges of World War 2".(http://www.ww2wings.com/main.shtml). Very nice site by the way. He has alot of pics of sweatheart pins.
