I would suggest:

1. Purchase this book: Exploring The Dress Daggers Of The German SS
http://www.wwiidaggers.com/REFTTW.htm

2. Looking through the many posts in this forum about SS Daggers. There are many examples of roundels and cross grain shown

3. Going to any militaria shows that you can find.
