Is this frog authentic? It looks good to me but I know there a lot of convincing copies around.

Hi John,

Yes, that's a conundrum I believe you won't be able to resolve to your satisfaction. The paint is nicely crazed so it doesn't look "new" and the construction looks like a period item. It would be fine in your nice Polizei collection, albeit with a lower price to reflect the doubt.
