Basic training early 1964 - the M14 rifle.

Later in Germany - "familiarization" with the .45 Auto pistol and the M2 .50 caliber machine gun.

Basic training 1992- M16A2

Basic training (1969) - M14

Later - S&W M10, M1911A1, Remington 700, M16A1.

Boot Camp: M-16/A2 Service Rifle

SOI: M-203 Grenade Launcher, M-249, AT-4

Later: M-16/A4 Service Rifle, M4 Carbine, Beretta M9, M-27 IAR, M2 .50 Cal, MK-19, M-240, Benelli 1014 Shotgun, M-72 LAW, M-32 Grenade Launcher, M-203 (non-lethal ammunition)

Experience/Familiarization with: M-40 sniper rifle, AK-47, RPK, PKM
