Whilst the L/56 would not surprise me, the CEJ has been in my collection for over 30 years. When I bought it, IAB's weren't particularly expensive and seldom faked. A silver washed IAB fake, while more common now, was pretty unusual then.

As a Berlin firm, CEJ was often one of the first to produce awards, and I have always thought this was a very early example. The extra effort of cutting out the swastika, on an award often issued, intrigued me.

Of course, I could be wrong.
