Compared to the one I own, it appears to be close to the real McCoy, except for the left wing dark threads which are present on mine.

Maybe a small variation? Was that allowed?

Actually upon very close inspection, there are substantial differences in the finish..especially around the wreath details.

Thanks Mark, actually the eagle is rather large: about 5 inches across and about 4 inches high. It has been removed from something and the funeral sash is the only thing I could imagine it would have been on previously.
Great quality workmanship and toning to the gold bullion.

I have a full sash with eagle/Fuhrer Standard intact.
Looks like thats where it came from.Just
aged somewhat.IMO

That one has so many differences in it compared to a real one, I can't believe he is serious.

The eagle head is turned the wrong way, the talons don't grip the wreath, there are no ties on the wreath...it go's on and on.
