A salute to BILL WARDA for all his help over the years deciphering the German language and encouragement he has given myself and others in the dagger collecting hobby.
Sincerely,

Hello,
I'd just like to agree and give a salute and thanks to Bill also. I"ve never met him but not only was he was kind enough to part with a piece that fit perfectly into my collection but he has time and time again helped me and others with his information and help. If and when I do meet him the beers are on me. Again...thanks Bill!

Hats off to Bill also from me. I did not make it to the MAX this year to buy the cold one I promised, but the debt is still owed. Thanks for all the help you have provided in making the forum a valuable place of information. James

Willy has been a great mentor to me and has helped me gain a real appreciation for the arts side of the German military of the 30's and 40's. I value his friendship very much and appreciate the time he has taken to teach me and exchange correspondence.

Bill has been a friend to many of us down through the years and stands always ready to help. Our hobby needs more like him. In the early days of the MAX his father was always a person that I looked forward to seeing each year.
