Thanks for the advice. How do I go about getting these things officially appraised. I'm sure the insurance company would need that before they did anything. Also, how common are the Todt badges? It actually has a number on it, 369887, so is there somewhere that lists who that number would belong to? I was thinking I might find out if the person is still alive or find his family and return it to him/them.
