the two knives have the motto the first one is a Robert Klaas with RZM mark which i thought was strange. and the second one has a maker marke ED Wusthof the writing is on the outside and trident in a circle.
Which wone should i go for.

Providing the price is fair, I'd go for both. Even if you have to put a deposit on them and pay it off in a short time. Hj's with mottos are getting hard to find. Everyone seems to be keeping these.

Hello Paul d,
Both seem original to me. Even if it is very unusual that motto and marking are on the same side of the knife, this Klaas looks fine from the pictures.
If you have to choose, I would go for the early Ed W�sthof, because it a real early, ricasso less blade. Except if the tip is broken off, it looks like that on one of the pictures, but it could be ok in real.

I agrre with Herman. Go for the early knife. Hard to find in this cond. Best, Paul D.
