A photo detail of the text itself would help - but it looks like "Dem scheidenden Kameraden Truppfuehrer Gnittke zum ewigen Andenken. Die Fuehrer des Sturmbann II/24"

It's a dedication for a SA troop leader who is leaving the unit: "To the departing troop leader, Gnittke as an eternal rememberance. (from) The leaders of Sturmbann II/24".

The cap bands are very dark so possibly black. This could be SA-Standarten 24 in Neuruppin Gruppe Berlin-Brandenburg.

Thanks, the translation is correct. Nice early photo. Date in lower left for 11 March 1934.

Some research might identify at least the Sturmbannfuehrer in the middle front.
