This RZM 1936 Wingen is offered for sale in Sweden, and it makes me curious...
I have never seen a Wingen blade with that shape before.
The grip looks ok to me, as do the rivets and the diamond. In my opinion, there is no doubt about the scabbard being original, but repainted, obviously. I have asked the seller about it, and according to him, there is only one runner, so it looks good to me. The RZM marking is not terrible.

But then the problems start... I have another 1936 RZM Wingen already, and it has a very high ricasso. The same thing goes for other ones that I have owned before. This one has practically none. Then the most obvious question: the somewhat bowie-style blade. The strange thing is, I dont see any signs that says it has been ground, wich you can see so many times on other HJs. It almost looks factory done to me...

Could this be some new fake, or is it some variation that I have missed, or is it simply modified?

All opions are most welcome.

Thanks
