Serge, Shill bidding does have its consequences! The person Shill bidding would still be left having to pay the auction company's commision. I would hate to think what it would be at this level! Cheers! RG88

HA! Well this is interesting! The only two daggers on that site are pieces which were previously on Craig's site. Anyone heard from Craig? I am sure that he is furious about his pics. being stolen....right?

Unfortunately it's a trend we are seeing. Last year a guy Ebayed an SS sword after pulling the pics off my site and removing the background. It's not the 1st time either. Most guys here know the "look" of the dealers pics so beware if the photos look too similar...

I have said several times that important items should be watermarked with the dealer's name.
Looking at that site and the time length and starting prices of the auctions, it looks like a spoof to me.

just spoke to craig to see if they were his pics, and if he knew they were using them. he let the photos be used for the programming of this site. but i still cant understand where the bids are coming from and how the price came to be...

Looking at that again, it appears to be a trial run of some auction software. The run times of the auctions are mostly ridiculous as are the prices.
Do anyone know who the site belongs to ?
