I've been without internet access for a while, so I missed great TeNO-Meister shoulder board posted...
It is great and VERY RARE item - thanks for posting!
In connection with it I realize the "V" must be black (after RdErl. d. RFSSuChdDtPol. im RMdI vom 19. Mai 1943 - O-Kdo g 4 (P 1a) 115/42, MBliV 1943, Nr. 21, Spalte 851) and I found an error in my web page Schulterstueck-Fibel,
http://www.tenzor.cz/lbsr/dr/uf/sch_pol-wchtm.html
where I mistakenly described "V" as dark brown...
And immediately there is an additional question:
Who wore shoulder boards with black underlay, brown inside chords and brown "V" on silver chords? (These shoulder boards actually existed - Dave's last post in this thread...)
An second question: What is the difference between RAD Unterfeldmeister shoulder boards (general branch) and Teno Wchtm. shoulder boards?
Velvet underlay? Or?

Our hobby is really great - after 45 yrs of collecting and interest in German militaria (especially in Wchtm. -like shoulder boards)
I can find new and unrecognized things!
