Thanks Dave. I've heard the same thing about the wear pattern and it makes sence to me. I've seen period photos of guys wearing there helmet over there hat, so as to keep warm, and the wear pattern matches up to this.
I like to see the hats with the side-hooks. I wonder if it there is a written regulation on these?
