please note the fitting of the eagle, its a little distorted and the Motto "Meine Ehre hei�t Treue" is not in the middle also the makersmark!

Yes ista magnetic just like the scabbard fittings.
I think its plated iron?

The crossguards look to be nickle? Usually you see a nickle nut with nickle fittings but this is a transitional period so not unknown. Looks to all be well fit.

Yes, the crossguard are solid nickle and the nut is nickled iron, also the scabbard fittings.
Do you think the dagger is ok?
The Motto and makersmark are a little out of the middle-line, can this happen?
