Eick all the way from this pic. Crossguard and ferrule are both Eickhorn.

Bob K, I think there is something behind your question as you do show only a small segment of the certain dagger. To be able to make any serious statement (as far as it is possible to make a serious statement from pics only) it would be necessary to see at least the whole dagger in several detailed pics.
Due to your question I might assume another mm on this certain dagger.
Due to my experiences there was much much more period parts exchanging between the firms as we "textbook" (I do hate this word) collectors do imagine.
The crossguard and the ferrule seem to be "textbook" Eickhorn, as Fitzer already has stated.

Wotan,
It is an Eickhorn dagger. I just wanted to be sure that it was all Eickhorn. I'm not experienced enough to tell the differences between the makers. Thanks for the help from both of you.

For someone that doesn't like the term "textbook", you use it a lot...... Big Grin

I'm poking fun.....but before I'd step out and say this is an Eickhorn, aside form the crossguard, I'd like to see the entire thing myself.....

I am totally on Dennys side! Wink
Also the mark seems to be a period, original makersmark.
