Vladimir, I am somewhat amazed at your examples of SS head gear. You could not possibly have picked a more elite rare or hard to find or expensive group of items to show on this forum. You have to know something about SS collectibles and the collecting world to come up with this grouping and/or to have chosen these items. I want to know what you didn't buy at this point. What did you pass on??? OR, and this a big OR, did you just allow someone to buy these things for you of which you were totally ignorant? I don't mean dumb when I say ignorant but just unaware. I'm curious if he's using us to vett his stuff before he puts in on eBay? If he had been showing some rusty canteens, bayonets and a few common badges, then I would believe that he is genuine, but with the stuff he has been putting on here for opinions, I'm suspicious!

Yes, these kind of reproduction are often for sale. But look carefully at the colours and the material used... once you have seen a real one you know better.
