Agreed. An original Quist SS helmet. I did a quick search on "B. Ladwig" on the German War Graves site and although there are three of that name and initial in Army ranks, there are no SS. Perhaps he survived the war?

Nice waffen SS helmet. This Hamburg sitizen really took care of his helmet. Q helmet`s are cool. I saw this helmet in another collection right before easter. Congrat with your new item!
