Hi Gents:
It is a real treat for me to finally see the dagger itself after uncovering its owner. I was wondering if it would be an honor dagger, and it is very interesting that it is. Below is one of Kopp's service file cards. Several versions were in his Race & Settlement file. This is sometimes the case with a NCO or enlisted man since this file was used as a catch-all when documents were sorted after the war.
