There were about 700 Norwegians who volunteered in the Winter war in Finland against the Russians. They served within the Swedish volunteer corps in 1939-40.
They were awarded the participation badge by Finland for their service. Many of the badges had bars depicting the area where the participants fought. The Lappi bar was the main region where the Norwegians fought.
This badge just arrived from Finland today and I am pleased to show it to you.
