Hi Dan,

I wouldn't necessarily call a fireman's bayonet with the '33-'34 Eickhorn logo "rare". They're not seen as often as the "35-"41 Eickhorn logo but they're out there. I like them because they're usually in better condition than later issue pieces.

I especially dig pieces with this logo because it predates the 1936 consolidation of the Feuerwehr into the Feuerschutzpolizei and demonstrates the individual German fire departments (at least some of them) utilized the faschinenmesser before it was the generally mandated sidearm.
