Hi Aleksandr,

First of all, this is a private purchase KS98 bayonet (not a policeman's bayonet). It's a rather nice short, rarer, wide blood groove and no double tip variation. I like it Smile I am actually looking for one like yours to add to my collection too.

Aleksandr, I too like the Voos. Here are two other shorts. One wide blood grove, the other narrow. And one being stag.

Jan is right, private purchase, but you had my curiosity. I don't think I've ever seen a true blue Voos police.

Here's a TM variation. Just a snake and the stump. The only one I've seen.

Steven

I can't recall ever seeing one with just the snake and stump only.

I also noticed that the other two do not match. The snake and type appears to be larger on the right one. Maybe it appears that way because its closer to the camera.

Terry, I see what you mean. They are so very, very close. It may be my quick crummy pics today that may give it the appearance of being bigger. All three are non-magnetic. When the snake and stump were used, I don't know. Hard to date it. Are yours magnetic or non-magnetic?

One of my Voos Feuerwehr pieces. Well made, early quality & an Eickhorn product IMO.

Here's the other, name only with no snake/stump logo. This one is dual marked by distributor Gustav Genschow, also an Eick product, A personal favorite for a maker mark buff like me Smile
