Good Civil War related material still comes out of families at almost 150 years later. With the international scope of WW II, abundance of material produced, and so many more people involved, great stuff will still be coming out beyond our lifetimes. I am constantly hearing from family's inquiring about grandfather's, uncle's, dad's, etc. daggers and other relic they are now just being discovered. Be patient and enjoy the hunt! Had one inquiry recently where the SS dagger was discovered in grandpa's house after he just passed on. I uncovered that the dagger belonged to an SS officer in a concentration camp who was hanged in 1946 for war crimes. Help's make life interesting!
