Even thought there are no definite info as to the period, we can say that undated daggers are from 1956 (based on observations). Daggers made in 1955 were dated, and in 1957 daggers were marked ZIK 57(two last digits on the year).
There were no legitimate black grips on soviet daggers. Some of them could just be period replacement of the regular yellow handle which was cracked.
