With respect that seems a strange line to take. If the Marine dagger is manufactured by the original WKC Solingen firm (and the Swiss dagger by Boker) why would you not value the craftsmanship of that firms products.

My interest in our hobby is twofold; unquestionably for the historical provenance and significance but also for the craftsmanship and materials of these pieces that is an artform in itself.
Would you view an immediately post war 'GI Souvenir' parts dagger produced by a Solingen firm also as 'junk' I wonder.It surely represents the era just as significantly as a wartime piece does.
For me the Boker dagger is interesting in that it reminds us the Romanesque design 'borrowed' by the Nazi's was originally a 16c Swiss hunting knife.
