Crown Prince Georg, son of King Johann Georg, as with his father and the 107th, was made a honorary Colonel of the 108th Fusilier Regiment and the personel of this regiment were autherized to ware this buckle with the monogram GG to the roundel.

by chance?

Bill my imperial collection is not complete. The scarce buckles I have are what I was fotunate to buy as they came up for sale. Thanks to you there are two more I have to hunt down. Thank you all for your kind words. willie
