Very nice display! I think it would be much better (safer) if your hangers were one piece. Plexi glass/lucite can be heated & bent. When cool it will safely hold it's new shape. I do not trust any glue to hold the weight. Most epoxies & especially crazy glue will at some unpredictible time let loose.One or two screws or clear plexi posts/dowels would be an improvement too. You can add posts after your two pieces/sections are glued and dried.
