Thank you very much for taking an interest in my display. I was going to bring this topic up later in the fall when I completed it, it's pretty hot here in Texas now and it's tough to work outside. In the fall, I'll enclose the display and post more pics. As far as the scabbards, at the moment they're in a separate safe place. But I know what you mean about the elements. As you read here, you'll see some guys take different approaches. Will fill you in as well as others upon completion of the display case. Thank you again for your interest,

It's be a long time since I have posted to this one. I just
Haven't got a whole lot done on, I have added some of the frame and 2 piano hinges, some of the lights. Still need the outer frame, top and bottom crown molding and one more piano hinge. Still thinking about the front molding. It is a bit complicated having to have four moving parts so you can get in it.
