In my experience the German Railway (Deutsches Reichsbahn) marked combat bayonets (98K - 84/98) tend to be earlier vintage commercial examples with wood grips. Having seen multiple different markings like R.B.D., R.B. (etc). And as George commented on w/o Waffenamts.
With my recollection being that the maker of choice seemed to the Coppel company. P. Weyersberg of course made prewar commercial bayonets as well - predominately as I remember for the Reichs Post. FP
