Hi:
Have any of you ever seen "AL PAPARELLI" stamped on a bayonet? The name is stamped in uncharacteristic type across the metal portion of the back of the handle of the bayonet. I'm wondering if it's the name of a veteran who might have brought it back. Or maybe the name of a dealer who sold them after the war. It's on a 42aSW. I did see that the "I" at the end of the stamping was made by an upside down "1". I'm puzzled by this mark... Any advice or insight would be helpful. Thanks!
