Just picked this belt & buckle, along with a small caliber holster. I do not recognize the insignia on it. Can anybody identify it for me. Two (2) pictures, front & reverse. Thanks, CHUCK

hi,,this buckle is pictured in the Assmann catalog of Fire Defense buckles as worn by various cities and states throughout Germany,,,the number is 22624 for "Hessen Nassau",,,nice belt and buckle set,,,Robert

this belt is normaly worn by firefighter untis in the province of hessen-nassau until 1936.
