Case: Investigation proceedings against the prison employee Hans Pelz, born 15 May 1911 in Drohobycz, currently in custody in the Lemberg police prison.

Procedure: None

I am conducting a preliminary investigation against the prisoner who is subject to SS and police jurisdiction, Hans Pelz for wilful liberation of prisoners, military bribery, military embezzlement, military disobedience, etc.

The wife, Kazimiera Pelz, born on 15 April 1899 in Przemyslany, resident in Lemberg, Thomasstrasse 9, is strongly suspected of having known of her husband's machinations and of having aided and abetted them; Mrs Pelz has been in custody since 9 February 1943.

I request that the proceedings against Mrs Pelz be transferred to the SS and police jurisdiction so that the Pelz couple can be tried together.

No happy ending to that.

Lemberg is in Ukraine. Its the German for L'vov / L'viv,,,Western Ukraine
