the problem is , - IF, if your a new collector and see this at a flea market / bazar and you only have a few min to buy it and the price is like a $100. some will go for it!
IF you are interested in these rings you better have a book ,,check out the forums ,,,and really do your studying because next weekend that vendor won't be there!!!

So if one would find a ring like this for $100 or about, wouldn't that be a ok price for a ring like this??? I don't know. The good modern copy's are over a hundred, better precise detail, but the NEW look, not used and period.

I don't know a great deal about SSHRs but the runes on this one are just ghastly; too poorly made to be an authentic Honour Ring. According to the signature of our friend who posted it, he wrote a book about SSHRs so... hopefully, he knew that this ring is a copy before he bought it... Stephen

Yes, this ring is indeed a copy, which is obvious at first glance.
However, I posted this ring here as an example of how far counterfeiters have advanced in engraving skills. I've seen many copies before, but the vast majority had bad engraving. This one seems very successful and very dangerous. Imagine it placed on a successful copy of the ring. I believe that even an advanced beginner would have a problem recognizing the copy.
I believe that this ring was launched into the world as a test balloon, and it is surely no coincidence that it ended up in my hands. We will see if more similar engravings appear on the copies.
Here you can see the engraving of the name. Yes, Zischka or Zilchka is one of the most common copies, but this is the first time I see such a quality engraving.

this engraving looks ugly and cannot compare in beauty with the original engravings, so they are still far from being up to the original level, as well as in external quality, the original rings have many features that distinguish it from the copy
