The ring is silver molded, stamped 835 and has a gold finish, which has partly gone.

I like that Benten!! They have disappeared off the market place.. This is the classic that is in the period adverts etc. Nice / correct details and great worn, warm finish..

Thanks for the compliment Gaspare.
After I found this ring, I searched on internet for rings like this one.
As you said, these rings are off the market, because If! you find a period ring, then most times you find lionrings with a stone between the teeth .
In this case, the stone is seperatly placed in the front of a little “tube”. I’m very glad to have it .

Very nice find congratulations! I found one in gold in a pawn shop but didn't buy it at the time. It could still be there and if it is I will give it a closer examination.

Mikee,,, somewhere here is a topic with them.. I think I show my gold one. It was still in its original wrapper!! Maybe take a look at that one IF its still there!!  Benten,,the lions had a couple of different mouth mounts,,but the tube type is a winner,,and the rest of the ring it spot on!!
