So here's one of his. Not sure who ended up with it but the pistols were all sold first so he could buy the AH ring,,the Goring brooch, and a host of other really spectacular items...

Bottom left has the description of Joes Salver,,,a real hoard find and would be a star in anyone's collection.. Glad Joe got it........

Gaspare, I think you have it backwards? The gold plated engraved Menz was donated to the West Point Museum by Bily if I am not mistaken. Bill Blynn had some magnificent engraved presentation pistols that I suppose were sold to raise funds for the balane of the Bily collection. Many were featured in firearms magazines with full articles by him. Here is one that was later sold on RIA.
