I have never seen the Horster associated initial guard on a slant gripped Horster. Even if I were to see one, I would believe the WKC type guard that Lanser has is earlier. Unless, some other guard eventually makes an appearance, I will believe that the initial production guards for Horster were made by WKC. I have seen exactly 4 of them (WKC guarded slants) over the years, and no slant gripped daggers with the Horster associated guard. I'm not aware of any evidence that the Horster asociated guard was even made by Horster. You see on a lot of armies other than Horster, as you well know.
