Things are messed up at JFK. You hit it correctly: backlog and not enough planes flying ..
And,,, They randomly select packages to be ex rayed / checked .. Then they just sit,,and sit,,and eventually get ex rayed and the package starts moving again.
It will be more time,,,but if the tracking says its there it is,,,,,,You will get it eventually!
