Just found this and need any thoughts, think I am going to pick it up but always like to see if the community has any ill feelings about it.

All pictures are mine and I have rights to use them as my disclosure.

Hello D.M., for me it is not easy to classify the dagger shown by you. The pics are too few and some to small to recognize certain features. What I can see in the pics and do like it is the grip (with wire) and perhaps the pommel, these do look like ALCOSO to me.
ALCOSO did have very distinct parts or did use also generic parts. Eg. because of to small or to few opics I cannot recognize the scabbard.
A part I do not like at all (perhaps heavy polished???, perhaps replaced??) is the crossguard. Also the appearance of the crossguard imho does not fit to the overall apearance of the dagger.
I hope for much better pics.
Regards,

Thanks Wotan for the comments. I ended up buying it and if all goes well should have it Wed this week. I needed to take a bit of leap of faith so well see and paid up front and only trusted that it will ship. From all that I could gather up last night it seems legit and I guessed the cross guard was polished up to attract a buyer. Apparently it was taken to a professional some 20 years ago and given the o.k as far as its originality as it was in a storage locker since then. So anyway its exciting and I hope it works out for the good and I will post more for anyone that has interest in these hunts or its outcome, again thank you for your time.

Also looking further into Alcoso I agree the cross guard does not seem accurate but, I have seen some parts were interchanged around the time but no mention of cross guard. I will keep my eyes out and hopefully find a genuine one or just leave it as it is once again, learning.

The photo is poor but the scabbard appears to have one side screw, on the side with the hanger rings. If that is correct, it might be a WKC scabbard.
