Hello guys,

I would like to ask your opinion on a Puma navy dagger I purchased lately. I am not a navy collector, this is the very first time I have a Puma produced Kriegsmarine dagger in my hands. Is it OK? Based on the photos of Wittmann's book I think it is a good one...

Thank you,
Janos

Hi Janos,
in my opinion is it a textbook KM dagger by Puma. If it is interesting for you, you can visit my website

www.kriegsmarinedolch.de

Best,
Oleg.

Sean, Oleg,
thank you for your replies. I am glad the dagger is OK.
Is there any database for Kriegsmarine officers like Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries at http://www.ww2.dk/lwoffz.html , where I could make a research for the original owner?

Oleg, your website is just great! Thanks!

Janos

That's a beautiful navy dagger by Puma. Not an easy maker to find! Well done.

Janos,
thank you very much for your kind words. Maybe you can try to find an owner of the dagger in the "Rangliste der Deutschen Kriegsmarine ".
Best,
Oleg.

Danny,

I have just one KM & it's a Puma, identical to yours but sadly without a personalization. Great looking dagger, well done!

My Puma KM dagger is also personalized. Not so fine like the dagger from Janos, but I like it nevertheless. smile

Hi,

unfortunately I could not find him. Neither here: http://historisches-marinearchiv.de/projekte/crewlisten/ww2/eingabe.php?neu=1&active_cl2=search
nor in my 1931, 1935, 1936, 1938, 1940, 1941 KM ranklist. Seems to me he served as NCO.
