You have a model 1933 dagger in a model 1936 scabbard. Factory issue 1936 blades in this type scabbard have no maker mark. There were regulations as to who could wear this scabbard. It was not limited to officers, although it is frequently referred to as an officer's model. It wasn't uncommon for SS personnel who qualified to wear the 1936 scabbard to retain their earlier dagger and purchase a '36 scabbard only. From the photos, the dagger and scabbard appear to be authentic. This type of chain was plated, which explains its rough finish. The scabbard was likely stored for an extended period in a humid environment, causing the plating to "bubble."


Definitly no 'bubbling'... for sure it's pitting from rust.
