How bout I add something to an existing thread for once! lol! Ok just saw this on German eBay and G suggested I post this and ask about hallmark... I also thought it was interesting looks almost like a diamond in the middle.., what does it say? (In my imagination I feel like it's an OLC overhoff!!) lol! Ok any thoughts guys??
Sorry for the delay. I own this ring. One of the attached photos shows the both marks on the inner side of the plate.
Upper side: Mark "900", standing on head or "006" upright.
In the middle: Two letters "T" and "S". Between the two letters something like an upright isosceles triangle without base (gleichschenkliges Dreieck ohne Basis), standing on a small pedestal (looks like a small stylized fir-tree). The entire structure is framed by a square standing upon one of its angles.
The other pic shows the enlarged front of the ring-plate with the engraved "West Wall 1939". The enlargement shows its engravement of low quality, I think.
This pattern I did not expect as early as in 1939.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
