Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone on the forum knows about paintings and painters. I have an aquarelle that was given to my mother a number of years ago and was hoping someone on the forum might be able to identify the painter from the logo(?) shown on the left bottom corner. It also has a date of 1940. I have not taken it out of the frame it's in yet but from memory it says it is of the zillertel or zitterel I believe which is a mountain range in Austria if I am not mistaken. Any help or info that can be provided is much appreciated. I can take better pictures of it if need be. Also, it had just been in a paper folder and I put it in the frame for the time being. Any info on how to better store it would be appreciated also.
thanks again.

Hello Dave,
I will try to take better pictures. I figured that the logo(?) shown in the first picture might be okay but I will see if I get some better closeups to show.
regards,
Bill

If you have a thought as to the artist's initials or the name of the picture this link may help.

Hello Joe,
Thank you much for that link. I actually have no idea about the artist or anything at all regarding this picture but I will see if I can find anything from checking into this link. Again thank you much and a Happy New Year to you and all the members of the forum.
Bill
