Hi Everyone,

As part of my small collection I've been given, I believe I have identified my first fake ??

Grip is almost new and the Eagle shouldn't be there. I believe the scabbard is new as well plus the wrong colour.
I think the top and bottom guards are OK.

The blade, I'm not sure so help on this one please.

Eagle could be there but You are right this is a fake from the beginingvto the end....

Yep full on fake. the etching on the maker mark is particularly bad on the " KARL "

Mark these are a minefield for the uneducated get a copy of "WAFFENLEITE presenting NPEA DAGGERS of the THIRD REICH" by Ron Weinand a must have book for anyone who collects NPEA daggers.
