Yes, I did see Tom Johnson's dialogue which mentioned Eickhorn's lack of specificity with respect to the time period for their various maker marks. That said, there was definitely a corelation, perhaps a loose corelation, between time periods & particular maker marks. I definitely get Tom's drift though.

Terry's triple border bayonet definitely looks like early 3R production with the elongated diamond bakelite grips.
