99.9% of the time questions arise because of the way the photos are taken [bad].
As far as Don. This was his forum 15 or so years ago. Don doesn't like to be questioned and when he was raked over the coals a bit he couldn't or didn't want to be a part of it anymore. Yes these forums aren't for everyone.

These forums are for discussion and sharing information. Many a collector has been very happy here posting their latest find.
IF your the super private type go right ahead, buy your HR pay Don his $200. and lock it away. For me,,half the fun is finding the thing and the other half is showing it to other collectors.
If a member is questioning a piece it is because he has concerns about it. Some rings are 'one lookers' but some even when they say they have Dons cert are still questioned. Nothing wrong with that its how we learn and hopefully how the new owner will learn.. You want a HR sometimes you have to take all that comes along with it...
